“ASH” – 2004 Hanoverian/TB cross by: Lady Madelaine x Morden Sunrise

Ash began it all for Slatehill Sporthorses, her mom suffered a minor field injury and was bred to a local thoroughbred stallion, Morden’s Sunrise, for her recovery year. In April of 2004, Maddie gave us this great foal, and I instantly knew this couldn’t be the last foal our farm had, I was hooked!

Ash was with us for 2 years when she found an awesome home with a local competitive rider, Katie. Ash is now 4 years old and into her second season of showing and doing just great, she appears to have a super demeanor at the shows I”ve been lucky enough to pop in at.

"Ash is a lovely mare and I am very pleased with the way she is progressing. Even as a two year old she has been very balanced at all three gaits. She is bold to her jumps and is tight and careful in both her front and hind end. My coach has commented that she is one of the fastest learners and although she is sensitive she is very willing to work."
