Graf’s Graceful Girl – “Gracie” – 16.1h, 2000 Hanoverian mare by Graf Genius
Gracie comes from a great Hanoverian line including the bloodlines of Graf Gotthard on her sire’s side and Nebelhorn on her dam’s side. Unfortunately Gracie had an injury as a 2 year old where she lived in the states. She’s had one foal while in the US, and she’s just had her first foal at her new home in Canada... This mare is the sweetest horse I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning, she is the “puppy dog” of my herd, if you’re in her pasture, be prepared to have a large grey shadow attached to your back pocket.

Sherpa Charm – “Sherpa” – 17.1h, 1996 Hanoverian approved TB mare by Nepal
Sherpa is the newest addition to SlateHill Sporthorses. She came up from New York in the spring of 2008. She was a steeplechaser in her original career. Sherpa was approved at the Hilltop Farm American Hanoverian Society Mare Inspection & was accepted into the Pre-Studbook. She received 8s for Neck, typiness, Femininity & Gaits. She has had 2 foals, one by Weltmeyer, she’s now here in Nova Scotia to carry on her broodmare role. Her grandsire, Raja Baba, was a prolific sport horse producer, and sire of Babamist, famed event horse sire. Sherpa has a soft flowing trot that takes your breath away, I can’t wait to see her first baby here in the spring of 2009.
